What is in the VR01–VR08 marble series?
The eight designs share one idea: the look of polished stone on a soft velvet rug. Most combine marble veining with a thin gold line or a Greek-key border; two are marble or agate patterns without a frame. All are made of polyester velvet and can be washed by hand or in the machine in warm water (30 °C) – do not wring and do not dry clean.
Each design has its own code, followed by the size: VR01-100X300 is the White Marble Greek Key runner, VR01-300X400 the same design as a large rug. The product pages show the photos of every design and its sizes.
- VR01 White Marble Greek Key – white marble with black veins, a fine gold line and a black-and-grey Greek-key border.
- VR02 Grey Marble Greek Key – grey marble with gold veins inside an ivory frame and a black Greek-key border.
- VR03 Cream Marble Greek Key – cream and taupe marble with gold veins, a gold frame line and a grey Greek-key border.
- VR04 Burgundy Greek Key – beige marble with gold veins, a burgundy-and-gold Greek-key frame and an outer border of marble diamonds.
- VR05 Beige Marble Octagon – beige marble with gold veins inside an octagonal black Greek-key frame with ivory corners.
- VR06 Silver Grey Marble – light grey marble with charcoal veins and silver-white highlights, without a border.
- VR07 Taupe Crackle Marble – taupe marble with bold black cracks and gold and white veins.
- VR08 Agate Waves – flowing agate bands in grey, sand and gold.
Which size for which room?
Every design is available in the same three sizes, so a shop can offer one pattern for the hallway, the living room and a large seating area – and a customer can match rugs across rooms.
- 100×300 cm – a long runner for hallways, corridors and beside the bed.
- 200×300 cm – a living-room size for under the coffee table or the dining table.
- 300×400 cm – a large rug for a full seating area or a big dining set.
Which shops sell marble-look velvet rugs?
