What is the 1609-L serving dish with lid?
Model 1609-L is a serving dish with a lid: the dish goes from the kitchen to the table with the food covered, so rice, stews and hot side dishes stay warm while the table is set and guests serve themselves. The two codes are the same model in two shapes, so a shop can offer both side by side.
The product pages show the photo, current availability and packing details of each code.
- 550-11 – serving dish with lid 1609-L, round.
- 550-12 – serving dish with lid 1609-L, oval.
- Both: 10 pieces per carton, minimum order of one carton (10 pieces).
Which shops sell covered serving dishes?
A lidded server is a practical item that households replace regularly, which makes it a steady repeat seller for household shops, tableware stores and webshops. Restaurants and caterers also buy covered dishes for family-style service, where dishes are shared at the table.
Showing the round and oval shapes together helps customers choose: the round dish suits rice and side dishes, the oval one a longer table. In a webshop the two codes work well as one product with a shape option, next to trays and other serving pieces.
